WEDDINGS AND PRIVATE PARTIES

Lemon Hill offers an authentic, traditional setting for a joyous wedding ceremony.

Indoor Rental

Rental includes use of the main floor, including the Oval Room, dining room, library, foyer and the two porches. The indoor guest limit is 70 persons.

Inside renters may erect a tent on the north side of the house. With a tent, the capacity increases to 150 people. Guests are entitled to a tour of the house, with a limit of 70 persons inside the house at any one time.

Indoor rental costs are as follows:

$2,500.00	For 70 people, maximum, With tent, up to 150

Outdoor Rental

Lemon Hill has been the scene of many successful outdoor parties. Picture your guests under a festive tent set up in front of the graceful twin staircases that lead up to the elegant mansion’s front door. The south side of the mansion, overlooking the Schuylkill River, can accomodate a tent for up to 250 people.

Outdoor rental costs are as follows:

$2,500.00	Maximum 450 guests
$500.00	Non-refundable deposit
$50.00 per hour	Supervisor’s fee*

Please note that Fairmount Park has its own rules regarding the gazebo.

For outdoor rentals, all types of food and wine are permitted. Renters must provide tents, port-a-potties, tables, chairs, etc.

*Please note: A supervisor is required on the premises for all rentals. Two staff members are required for large events and at the discretion of the Lemon Hill management

General Guidelines

When considering Lemon Hill, please keep the following in mind:

The indoor guest limit is 70 persons.
Food is permitted only in the foyer and on the porches.
Red wine is not permitted because it could stain valuable carpets and upholstery.
Lemon Hill is a non-smoking venue, both indoors and on the porches. All flames, including candles and fires, are prohibited.
Caterers must vacate the building by 12 midnight.
Guests should consult our list of approved caterers when planning an event.
Guests should refer to our list of Rules & Regulations before scheduling an event.
Renter must have liability insurance.

Outdoor ceremony - $300/first hour; $200/2nd hour.

Photo Shoots (outdoors only) $150/hour
